How fast do we see results?

This topic can always be a little tough to discuss.
BUT,  I boast a practice known for it's candor, and this topic is no exception.

Why is it tough?

Well, I want everyone to be better the moment they set foot inside my doors.  However, that isn't the way the human body works.

QUICKLY:
It is important to discuss, yet again, the differences in care you can receive through different chiropractors.
Traditional Chiropractic is anything that can temporarily reduce pain, muscle spasm, etc.  Through this care you may be able to see short term relief with acute issues.  Though they may come back.
Structural Chiropractic is about long term results and herein lies the reason I wanted to discuss results.

When I discuss health concerns in my office with almost everybody, I hear about conditions that have been going on for weeks, months and even years.
AND, symptoms are an END result of a change in structure that has already been there for quite some time.

THERE IS NO PROCESS THAT DOES NOT REQUIRE TIME.

This statement holds true when I discuss what care will look for an individual.
Because, if it took time leading to these symptoms IT WILL TAKE TIME to restore that condition.
The hardest part about what I do is always right at the beginning.
I usually hear phrases like:
"Things feel worse..."
"I feel the same..."
or
"I'm really sore..."

And to be honest, it can be tough to go day after day hearing those quotations but I have such a strong conviction that we are moving in the right direction that I keep working on making them better.
(I throw in objective exams to ensure progress is being made.)

Then the day comes.

The day I hear new phrases.

Phrases like:
"I haven't noticed X,Y,Z at all"
"I feel better then I have in years"
or
"I'm so glad X,Y,Z is gone!"

And the time it took to progress to that point is nothing but a distant memory along with whatever secondary conditions was ailing them.

FOR GOOD!

So, I ask YOU now.  If you are dealing with long term symptoms,
Would it be better to go through changes sooner or later?
Would you rather see these symptoms as a distant memory, or a daily occurrence?

There is no time like the present, to be a better you.

In Sum,
If you want a problem gone for good, There is no "quick fix" or "magic bullet".
Time and repetition are key to lasting change within the body.
Can things get worse before they get better?  Of course.  But it means that things are CHANGING for the better!

Yours in Health,

Dr. Aaron Hildreth
